Inverness Rotary - Four Avenues of Service

Club Service is about club administration, and encompasses all the activities we do to sustain ourselves as a club. Club Service is overseen by the executive team of the President, President-Elect, Secretary and Treasurer.

Members on Club Service committees work cover such responsibilities as secretary and treasurer functions, the newsletter, Sunshine Committee, Sgt at Arms, and various fundraising activities.

Three other important club-related functions are public relations and membership, as well as member education.

Here is a summary of some recent Rotary Club of Inverness fundraising activities..

FUNDRAISING

Spring Golf Tournament – Annual fundraiser. Help get sponsors and door prizes, sign up players, help work the event!
Blood, Sweat & Tears concert – Fundraiser held in May 2009.,
Annual Radio / TV Auction – December. Another event for which we need all members' participation. Proceeds go to our charitable foundation.
Patriotic Evening in Inverness – Rotary generally has a drink booth as a fundraiser. This is an annual event.
Uncle Sam Jam – September, on the Square, in previous years. Fundraiser with food / drinks booth. Possibly an annual event?
Dances – We previously have sponsored dances as successful fundraisers; none has been scheduled for 2009 - 2010 yet.
